Russia military increases age limits amid war

Russian parliament's lower house approved a bill raising the maximum age for compulsory military service from 27 to 30. This comes amid efforts to strengthen the military during war with Ukraine. The bill awaits approval by upper house and President Vladimir Putin to become law. While some senior members criticised the move, the upper house speaker expressed support for it.
